App Review – The Filca

Vintage and 35mm on your phone

It’s been a long time since I post an article and specially a review about an app related to photography, but I feel that there’s a lot of apps that deserved to be an essential part of your everyday point and shoot smartphone camera, and I have over 20 different apps that will be reviewed along with other equipment for my DSLR, and maybe, new ones are on the way.

The Filca App was developed by Cheol Kim, which is the author of other apps like Midas 4K Filter, Softo Polar Camera, and Reco 4K record and filter, has developed a vintage camera with the looks of a classic 35mm along with filter with the looks of a Kodak, Fuji and Afga.

I really enjoy the quality of these filters and it brings an excellent quality on its results, however, taking pics in a landscape form can be a hassle if there’s no tripod involved, in my opinion, but otherwise, it is a good option for talking 35mm pictures with a vintage feeling.
